Biography
John Bute brings over 30 years of financial services experience to Lido since joining the team in 2019. John began his career in 1986 as a Financial Analyst in New York City, becoming a Certified Public Accountant and managing partner of a public accounting practice in Liberty, New York before returning to the investment sector. John joined Merrill Lynch in 2008 after earning a bachelor’s degree in finance and accounting from State University of New York at New Paltz. John focuses on customized wealth planning and portfolio management, tax minimization strategies and client support. Currently designated as a CPA, John resides in Weston, Florida with his wife, Nancy, and their two daughters. He previously served on the board of directors of the Weston FC – Weston, Florida youth soccer program. Now a senior member of the Lido team, John brings his skills and experience to the table in service of the client experience, providing unique and time-tested insights for the benefits of their financial plans and investment goals. He is also a member of the Firm’s Investment Committee, which focuses on developing investment and risk management strategies for client portfolios.
